WHY did we change the name?

When we opened up in 1993 we were solely focused on Windsurfing. Kite Boarding and Standup Paddle Boarding (SUP) didn't even exist from a commercial standpoint! We were a windsurfing shop, selling windsurfing gear to a local market.

Fast forward seventeen years to the present...and you'll find the world of water includes a broader array of boardsports. We are now a Kiteboarding, Stand-up Paddle, Surf and Windsurfing shop serving customers worldwide - a WaterSports specialty store.

WHAT does this mean to you?

In 2010, we will be more committed than ever to our core sports, offering an extensive range of equipment, lessons, rentals and full service for the water sports we both know and love. Our main focus -- you guessed it -- Windsurfing, Kiting, SUP and Surf with continued emphasis on improving our customers experience on the water, in the shop and on the web.
